Commitment to Students and Student Learning 

I believe that learning begins with relationships, and that establishing positive, trusting connections with students is critical before meaningful learning can occur. When students feel seen, valued, and emotionally safe, they are more willing to take risks, engage deeply, and persist through challenges. By prioritizing relationship-building, I can create a foundation of trust and belonging that supports students well-being and allows academic learning to flourish.
